Anyone had the need to fit one of these ? And if so where did you purchase it from .
Asking because i know a location for them in Germany .. 291003.jpg

The German ones don't quite fit RHD cars due to the brake hose and hardware. You will need some cutting and filing tools as well as rubber isolators to get around it or relocate the vacuum hose.
 
I've seen it suggested that all 124s except, possibly the cabriolet, do not benefit at all from fitting these. They are quite stiff enough already.

Any other opinions?

Unless you were going track racing perhaps. There's already a welded box section cross-member that the engine mounts on and no evidence for a lack of front body torsional stiffness in normal road use.
