A curious thing happened today. I was driving at slow speed down a slight incline. Didn't need to brake but didn't need to be on the throttle and i noticed the cars revs were hunting (reflected on the rev counter) by a few 000'd revs.

I drove round for a little while and under the same circumstances i found sometimes this would happen and other times everything was fine?

Then when i got home and put the car in D the revs started hunting again (momentarily) before settling to its normal idle speed.

If you've got the M104 straight six, I suspect it will be a dirty throttle body...easy job to do.

Thanks chaps - Hopefully it will be the throttle body and not the wiring loom!
