A1647201735 is the part number for a W164 2006 YM front left door lock.
Can some one tell me if there is an other variant part number for this model year.
I searched all the net and nothing comes up only direct from the dealer for around £430 !!!!!!

I can look on mine in the morning.

What exactly is your problem? Both my front door locks were inactive when locking or unlocking on either remote, switch in car or using Keyless Go button. I ordered a replacement OSF door lock actuator from Dronsfields but it was the wrong part (different vehicle?) and didn't have Keyless Go.

Anyway today I thought I'd try to experiment and see if I could find what part has actually failed. I suspected the motors have gone inside the actuator but didn't want to cut/glue the plastic to repair like I've seen on youtube.
I first removed the rear SAM and checked for water ingress. Dry and clean as a bone but gave it a clean with isopropyl alcohol for good measure. I then tried using just the lock from the Dronsfields part with my Keyless Go door handle and all works perfectly! I am now ordering a NSF actuator from here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-ML-GL-W164-Doorlock-actuator-NSF-Left-Front-UK-1-Year-Warranty/122674829615?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 to fix the front left door.

From my experience if your locks have been "machine gunning" then you need the spring replaced: https://www.i6automotive.co.uk/mercedes-door-lock-w169-w245-w164-x4-spring-kit.html or if they're just inactive then you need to replace just the actuator: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mercedes-ML-GL-W164-Doorlock-actuator-NSF-Left-Front-UK-1-Year-Warranty/122674829615?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

For £37 I'd rather order a remanufactured actuator with warranty than try the motor repair.

Hercules, try calling your local dealer and ask if that part number has been superseded? In some cases the facelift cars will have different part numbers but the parts are universal and fit both variants.

I've just replaced the NSF door actuator today.

My car has Keyless Go and the actuator has 7 pins on the electrical connector. These are available from the same guys as above for £54 but they don't list them on eBay. If you need these locks just contact them to check availability.

The part has been professionally repaired (I assume with a new motor) and has no damage to any of the plastic casing. It was simple to switch out, especially if you're familiar with how the door comes apart and now works perfectly.

Absolutely no need to spend £430 at the dealers!!
