Hi All

The standard headlights on our ML are far too yellow for me and i'm thinking of changing them for a brighter white colour.

Has anyone done this on their ML? Is there a how to guide on this?

Anyone know which xenon bulbs i'd need to buy?

Many thanks

Suraj

Presumably as they're yellowish, they are halogen rather than HID or LED.

If so, ebay has thousands of plug-n-play (ish) LED replacements, any colour you choose, but usually white or blue-white.

You just need the Headlight bulb type you are replacing (possibly H7) and buy the equivalent LED version.

Make sure they are greater thsan 1500lumens brightness and Canbus compatible or they may put-up a bulb warning error.

Be aware that LED bulbs for dipped are still not perfect and may draw attention from plod.

I've recently fitted Osram Nightbreaker Ultimates to the dips and Nightbreaker Lasers to the mains, and am surprised how white they look (and the dips are excellent!). Worth a look, a pair of Ultimates is only about £15.
