W168 - possible to swap passenger seat rail?

Hi,

I have a 2001 A160LWB Avantgarde that does not have the quick-release front seat option.

However, the floor has the lugs for this - the fixed foot just bolts into the front slope.

Does anyone know if it were possible to switch the seat runners between a bolt-in and quick release, and if anyone had done so?

If possible, it means I can get any old quick-release seat without too much care for covering condition or colour and swap the quick-release runners with my fixed . There would also be no complications regarding the airbag connector.

Is you passenger seat height adjustable? I believe the removable option was only available with height adjustment, which makes potential rail replacement a bit more tricky, if at all possible, for a standard version.

FWIW, I've replaced my seats with full leather heated ones, the quick-release / height adjustment was a nice bonus
