W202 1999 C200 door mirror removal

    Hi, can someone tell me how you go about removing the door mirrors from the doors please, thankyou.

    Right then, you carefully need to pull (standing with your back towards the front of the car) the mirror towards the front of the car. Inside the mirror is a spring.

    That video is the best thing to let you know about it also look up on YouTube and you will find a lot of videos for the repair of a w202

    Park in any tight London street and a white van should have your mirrors off in no time.

    :rolleyes: think i will ignore the white van remark as i own white vans myself :cool:

    Just found out my passenger mirror is held in with blue tack so Im guessing its the spring mounting gone.I will check out the links above on how to fix
