When you start it from cold it is fine, then at 60 degrees C suddenly there is a clonk from the injection pump and it suddenly runs real rough and smokey. Gets a bit better as it warms up. But really knocks over 3000rpm
I can only assume something is throwing the timing out. I can't really see that the ECU would be telling it to be so advanced?
I have checked all the various system sensors according to my Autodata CD, but they all seem fine. Also the static pump timing is just perfect.
The only option I have is to check the timing with a timing light at cold and when warm and adjust the pump so it runs more or less right when warm. No idea if it will start OK when cold then though.
Anyone else seen anything similar?
