W203 C220 2005 C Class

Hi,

Please can you let me know what I need to purchase, to enable me to use the bluetooth telephone option in a W203 2005 C220 C class.

Do I need just the bluetooth ECU unit (Bluetooth module 2118702726 mercedes coupe c220 w203 km05xxt 00-08 sheffield) ?

I had a 2006 W203, and the original Bluetooth for the W203 facelift was available via the Convenience Telephony option, and unless you car already has this option fitted (check under the centre armrest) then it will be an expensive and pointless retrofit.

I think your practical options are either fitting COMAND NTG2.5 with Bluetooth (which is actually from a 2009-2010 CLC), or opting for an after-market kit e.g. Parrot.

I opted for COMAND NTG2.5 retrofit, which while not cheap, provides modern Bluetooth connectivity plus navigation and music system, so overall it was well worth it. See also https://www.commandonline.co.uk/COMAND-Navigation-and-Audio-Units/ .
