I hope someone can help.
Had a car involved in an accident and unfortunately the driver's airbag deployed.
Purchased a new steering wheel airbag and fitted, however, it doesn't seems to work at all (buttons not responding, not even the horn working).
The dashboard comes up with SRS system fault and cannot clear it.
Also purchased and fitted a new ECU, with a same model, but still cannot clear the fault codes.
What would you recommend for a next step?
Found some places online where crash data can be deleted from the original ECU as the new ECU might be programmed for a different vehicle and might not be compatible.
Or should I purchase a new steering wheel airbag? as no buttons responding at all.
Car diagnostics tool says cannot communicate with the module and not reading any fault codes related to the airbag.
Any help will be appreciated.
