My CLK 2004 aircon stopped working (no cold air) about the same time the intercooler hose split which I have now replaced, but aircon still not working.
An independent garage I took the car to said that there are no leaks and it should work but it doesn't. They also mentioned their tools could not communicate properly with the aircon due to CANBUS errors.
I have read the car with ELM OBD adaptor and there are no faults showing on the car, and I have also tried another indash climate control unit but aircon is still not working as in no cold air coming out.
Also I have tried the reset procedure of holding defrost and recycle buttons.
Not sure what to do now? Any ideas?
