w210 e290
Hi, i'm new to this forum.

I'm having some troubles with my W210 E290TD from 1999. While driving on the highway the car goes into "limp home" (max 3000 rpm).
i have read out the error code:

P1470 Boost pressure vacuum control transducer

I then tried swapping the valve for the turbo and EGR = no change. Replaced MAF = no change

I have seen movement from the Wastegate while reving, so it is not stuck.

Lately i have tried measuring the signal from the MAP sensor while driving. In idle i reads 1,5 volts, and doesn't really change when engine reved (about 1,6 volts). When driving on the highway the signal reaches max 3 volts and when i goes into limp home the voltage drops and no spikes or anything before the drop.

Any ideas ?

probably stuck egr valve. There is a 'defeat' for the E300 version. or badly leaking inlet tubing or tube to pressure sensor.

will i not get a error code for the EGR if it is stuck ? i have already checked the tube from the manifold to the map sensor it seems fine.

anyone?
