W211 e55 knocking/osilating under heavy acceleration

I have a w211 e55 and the last few days when acceleration hard ive noticed the gear shifter vibrating/bouncing and a horrible rubbing/ossilating/knocking sound coming fron the front of the car, this is only under hard acceleration or kickdown
Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Reckon you're right Lee.
Open the the hood and jolt the car forward, you will probably see the left hand engine mount detached/ the engine trying to jump out the car

Gearbox mount has probably gone, there is also a mount/bearing on the prop shaft I think?

Open your bonnet, have someone Rev the engine and see how much it moves if it lifts up and drops down your engine mounts are shot

I think you bought the car from eBay that was discussed on here earlier this year - '03 plate from South Coast? If so the seller reckoned the subframe bushes were shot - have you had these checked yet?

Just thought it worth mentioning in case you weren't aware!

Those are done, had them done in the 2nd wk of owning the car buddy

Changed all 4 think it was 120 for the bushes from mercedes and 140 fitted
