W211 SRS airbag fault HELP !!

Where do i start with the error codes:

9032- front impact sensor driver side
9183- belt tensioner driver side

I was told by previous owner that the airbag light was intermittent for a while but has been on continuous for the last month.

The car did have light bump on the driver front wing a few years back.

I am assuming i need to replace the impact sensor on driver side and also need to change the seat tensioner. Or is this something more simple like a wiring, plug ,connector problem.

I also feel the seat base on the driver side sits a bit high on driver side.

Can i use a diagnostic tool other than STAR for*airbag faults?

The car is a W211 E320 cdi 2006

Had a quick look, Connections under the seat seem to be fine. Anything else that it could be?
