My car was in for service Thursday/Friday. When it came out there was an additional 302 miles on the trip odometer.
The main odometer had advanced 7 miles from the figure I noted when I dropped the car off and 6 from the figure the dealer had stamped in the service book. As they discovered late in the day that the car needed new pads all round and new discs on the rear (all courtesy of Service Plus ) the 6-7 miles is what I would expect.
The trip odometer showing distance since last reset is still reading the figure I expect so it is just the one constantly showing in the speedo cluster that has changed. It seems to be working OK so I am more than a little intrigued as to why/how it changed. Any ideas anyone?
