When the first heavy snow fell a couple of weeks ago my RHS wiper (facing the driving direction) stopped working. It was a 5 minute fix to tighten the nut to make it work again. Yesterday however it came even more snow, and this morning it happened again, but this time not a quick fix as there is no movement in the "bolt" the arm is attached to.
Since the LHS wiper work I guess the motor is not the culprit. I actually expect it might be a dislocation of something or something mechanical. The wiper blade can be moved by hand, when holding the "bolt" I feel movement but just not any rotational force. Is maybe something broken?
I am hoping that maybe someone here might be able to help me to isolate the culprit without having to dive into the snow and start the disassemble only to find out that I am missing something essential to fix this issue.
Have anybody here studied the wiper linkage enough to make a guess or two?
