2013 E220 CDI Estate (W212 Facelift)
I have a 2013 E220 that seems to have developed a slow coolant leak (requires around 0.5 litres every 1000 miles or so). I originally tried replacing the header tank cap as I thought it was leaking however the issue remains.

I think I have located a leak visually and have attached pictures of what I've spotted, although I'm not sure which part it is actually leaking from. Does anyone have a knowledge of the system that could point me in the right direction?

Many thanks.

I know little about the detail, but my 2014 E220 had a coolant leak repaired under warranty; they claimed that it wasn't uncommon.

Water pump
Thermostat housing
Seal for egr cooler

All these are common parts that leak, you may be lucky and just need a proper hose clip on that pipe pictured, best to get the system pressure tested to be sure.

Hi Tim
I know this was posted some time ago, did you find out what was causing the leak
