W212 front sensor fault

I have the middle left front parking sensor faulting when wet.
Looking to replace it, but how do I remove it?
Is it bumper off? I can't see any other way of getting to it.

I do not know your model, but more than likely bumper off. My W163 outer sensor went, and i was lucky enough to be able to change that one without taking bumper off, however, the rest would need bumper off to do

If the E Class bumper fitment is the same it doesn't look like a bad job.

Not a difficult job and gratifying if you do it yourself. I’m not a mechanic but have enjoyed doing a few things under the bonnet using YT vids. Putting all the parts and bolts in a line helps when putting it back together [emoji106]
