Wanted: Contact details of Suppliers of (new) spareparts for classic MBs

Dear friends

I am desperately trying to source a new water pump for my 1963 190c Heckflosse. Are there suppliers in the UK that would ship to Cape Town, South Africa?

My model is series VIN 11001060058626, Model W110, Engine ID 120.924.

These new (OEM Original Equipment Manufacturer) water pumps are available in the USA, but the two suppliers that I could order from, do not ship internationally anymore (in the last month).

My internet search of UK MB Spares suppliers was unsuccessful, but I am sure there are indeed such businesses.

Could I kindly ask for assistance from the MB community?

In the UK Jacksons have the best MB old parts dept. I think they may now be called MB Poole.

The only place I can think of is Mercedes-Benz of Poole too.

These german guys http://www.speed-autoteile.com list your pump(Ruville) and gasket in their online english version catalogue. As far as I know they supply international markets??-- go to the online catalogue select mercedes select model---you will have to select more models to see your car then navigate to cooling

Are you saying that your local Mercedes main dealer cannot suppy the part ??????????????

I ask because normally if the part is still stocked in Germany then any Mercedes dealer in the world can easily get the part.
