He needs a racing type of throttle body for his old 190E 2.3 16V.
My buddy is building something special on his engine.

if you want something cheap, try and source a set of throttle bodies from a toyota 4age 20v (black top/ silver top). new throttle bodies are going to be expensive.

there are a few for sale on german ebay, i looked yesterday.
my buddy wants aftermarket racing stuff, something that improves engine performance.

do you have anything for sale or can you point me in the right direction where to look?

hello mate

I think your friend is talking about fitting DCOE throttle bodies with full EFI engine management.

you can adapt the throttle bodies from a toyota 4age 20v / levin ae111 (black/silvertop engines) these engines came fitted wit multi throttle bodies...cheap option if you can make an adapter plate.



these companies can build and supply parts...a bit EXPENSIVE but products are excellent.

Hi

The throttle bodies can be made to fit the inlet runners center to center distances. butterfly size is around 45mm, so its a good size to start with.

the blacktop itb's are slightly larger, 45mm butterfly, tapered to 50mm

thats the one for you

if your friend is planning to raise the compression ratio and play with hotter cams, then you need larger bodies, possibly 48mm.

yes, the Busa ITB's can be used as they are easy to space out to match the inlet port distances.

you want the ITB'S from the older version of the Busa, they bodies are a little bit bigger.

you want the first generation ITB's, 1999 to 2007, do not buy 2nd generation, The ITB's are more compact and you wont be able to space them out.

yes, sold them a while back

The bodies will have different part numbers

the 2nd generation ITB'S are connected in pairs by an aluminium plate and cant be individually spaced.

the first generation can be spaced out individually to match port distances
