Warranty renewal

Hi all, I have a 350 CD E class coupe with 53000 miles (2009) . The dealer warranty I got when I bought the car from a main dealer is due to expire next month, is it worth while renewing the warranty ? either with MB or one of the other providers like AA ? anyone know if it is viable or should I just take a chance

I think you will be better off saving a bit of money each month for repairs.

Warranties are usually a waste of money.

Warranty Direct are perhaps one of the better 3rd party companies but as said above if you can put a sum aside each month you might be quids in at the end of the year.

Equally, should a big ticket item go down, you could be well out of pocket.

As with most 'insurances' it's "piece of mind" one normally pays for...

With WD especially, don't accept their first quote, they invariably come back with an 'improved' offer!
