Hi All,

Might be getting a 2012 SL63 AMG. I'm on a lookout for a new set of rims for it, so wanted to know if these would fit

The wheels are BBS CH-R in black.

Current Wheel size:

9Jx19 ET27 Front
10Jx20 ET48 Rear 5x112

Tyre Size
255/35R19
285/30R20

New Wheel Size:

9jX20 ET30 Front
10.5Jx20 ET35 Rear 5X112
Tyre Size
255/30R20
305/30R20

Thanks all.:bannana:

As you don't appear to have tried it, I'll help.

Fronts will be barely any different whilst the rears will stick out 19.4mm further out.

Thanks a lot. Does that mean I'll need spacers in the rear?

The opposite :fail

Have a look at your rears now and take a tape measure with you, measure 20mm from the top of the tyre outwards and eyeball if it'll foul the arch.

Hi peter, l'm a newbee to this site, l have a C220 CDI AMG Sport Estate 2014 and l want to fit 225-40-18 snow tyres on both axles, l have been offered 4 x 18x8j ET43 alloys but l am told they should be ET50 which means they will be 7mm wider, they will fit but may effect the handling(by how much l dont know). Any advice?

Welcome to the site...always best to start a new thread when you have a new question.

Anyway...7mm is a very small difference.

Thanks

Thanks, l was just a little concerned wether 7mm and 14% increase in scrub would cause problems in the snow handling as we are due another bad winter this year, it's overdue.
