Just wondering if anyone's thought about converting to the fan type washer jets that let a nice wide stream out all over the screen rather than the current old style jets.

I've had the fan type on a few Vws and rate them
TIA

I did the conversion on my wifes Vectra using the insignia fan jets (was a direct swap too), much more effective and washer bottle doesn't require filling so often.
Anyone know if there are MB fan jets that may fit other models?

i try not to use the washer jets as it makes the rest of the car dirty, By the time i do need them the car is dirty so not worried about water streaming everywhere lol

facelift 211 washer nozzles are the fan type .. I had them fitted to my CLS55

When you say facelift 2007 onwards?
I'd be really interested in doing this
The current nozzles remind me of my ford Sierra lol

I think it was 06 onwards .. but the cars with the wing mirrors with arms.

works wonderfully on my CLS .. simple in/out job .. at least it was for my mechanic!

So I need to find out which w211 models have the mist jets first then work out if they will fit.

Is that right c240

I have done this mod on my Honda Civic before, using the fan type jets from a Honda Jazz.

The only downside is when you use them at higher speeds, the wind moves the mist to easily so you may get less coverage. However, you do get awesome coverage at lower speeds.
