Windsrcreen wiper 1992 300sl w129

Hello guys a while back I posted a problem I was having with my wiper in that it was erratic in operation . Well last night during our usual downpours the wiper only worked on full speed initially and then when warmed up it would work on the slower speed but not intermittent. It also tens to stop and starts as I drive and stop. I thought it may be a voltage problem but even when I stop and rev the engine it does no operate . I was told by Andy that there was no relay on this system so what actually controls the speed , is it the stalk?
The motor seems fine when its on full blast. Any ideas no matter how imagnative are welcome.

No its too old I believe for one of those nothing mentioned about one in the manual.

I wonder if mine does that??

a 1992 probably dosent have this function...Have you checked all the wiring??

Also, do your lights dim when you stop?

Got them sorted out at my local garage , just dirty contacts on the relay.
