Wipers not working W209 320

Just been going over my new purchase and found amoungst other things that the wipers do not seem to work.
Nothing from turning the stalk wiper controls, the indicator and headlamp flash work fine and press in wash and wiper sweep work.
No constant wipers

Any ideas??? help needed.

On mine, the wiper stalk failed, not an unknown fault.

As above, not uncommon and not hugely expensive fix. It's a steering wheel off job though

Just bought a new stalk (amongst other things) Is there any threads on fitting??

This has just happened to mine too!
Fuse looks ok. I guess it is a new wiper stalk then.

Are you testing with the doors open?

Or without the bonnet properly shut?
