word spell checker

arrgghhh... i fell very stupid in asking this but here goes..

the spell checker keeps reverting to the US dictionary.. i set it to UK but after aminute it reverts back! Where can i change it for good? "Help" isnt helping!

p.s. this is the latest version of word...

Try hunting out a file called SETLANG.EXE
Usually in the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
Run this and set the language you want to use.

(You will have to close any Office applications - including Outlook - before you make the changes)

Also make sure the text in the document has not been marked as English (U.S). To set all as English (U.K.) select all text in the document and select Tools, Language, Set Language and mark selected text as English (U.K.).
