Hi,

Apologies first off as I'm sure this has been covered in a thread somewhere but couldn't find it.

Can it be done or am I going to face unwanted issues etc.
Purely to make the car sound better, or are there any alternatives

Thanks

Alastair

Most X pipes are put in v8 petrols...so possibly this is the first time this has been asked.

Welcome.

Yes. Isn't the idea to balance the flow between the two manifolds so that there's less pulse and more burble? - It gives mild horsepower gains (but not any more than just having a straight pipe joining the exhausts).

I guess the effect would be the same any time you've got two exhaust banks to balance. :dk:

Hmm so there's no reason why it wouldn't give the desired effect on a v6 diesel then?
Just want it to sound a little better is all
