I use an isolater. Basically a battery kill switch. Works perfectly now

Have 5 cars with admiral. Made one claim 6 years ago, no problem. You do have to challenge their price every year. This year started at 2.5k went down by 850 when said I would leave.

I had total nightmare with autoglass , 5 hours labour at main dealer to put right. !!

Done it. Isolator fitted. Good as gold now. Eventually will get new battery :-)

Sorted. Battery was shot. SRS light voltage sensitive. Replaced. Light reset. Good as gold now

Lucky you. Also bent wiper and scratched bonnet and trim. All fixed by main dealer and charged to them. Threw in diagnostic for me :-)

Persuaded Merc to do complimentary star diagnostic for me. Will find out tomorrow They fixed all the mess auto glass did.

I also want it fixed , I'm a bit ocd with cars and warning lights:-)

There is no particular noises and the car sometimes goes for complete journeys without coming on. There may possibly be a connection with hard acceleration. Once it came on just after I really put my foot down but certainly not always. Always goes off if I stop car and restart but it does seam...

This light seems to come on for no apparent reason. Does not cause limp home mode. If I switch the car off and on again it goes off again. ( for a while) I have read about the throttle cable ( cable tie solution) but haven't done that yet. I had the brake light switch changed but it still...

Every thing was finally perfect on car, after a month of tinkering, visits for parts to main dealers and support from forum. Real sense of achievement :-) Decided final thing to do, was get chips in windsceen repaired. They decided chips to big, need new windscreen. Then the nightmare...

Thanks Ivan sounds the same as the clk re steering angle sensor. Really tempted to just put isolator on it like the clk. I assume you lock car,(so windows up) then disconnect battery. Negative terminal.
