I did what has been recommended here before - bough a cheap set of cranked ring spanners and ground the end off the correct sized one (17mm?) - like these https://www.screwfix.com/p/magnusson-double-ring-spanner-set-4pcs/2171v

I had something similar but there were loads of errors showing on the dash. One bulb had gone so it used the fogs on both sides for brake and tail lights, therefore giving 5 errors for a simple blown bulb. I thought the whole rear light clusters were gone

I can answer my own question now - broken wire somewhere around the rear suspension arms. Many thanks to Nick Webster Merc specialist near Macclesfield for sorting

Hi folks, I wondered if anyone could shed some light on my wheel sensor fault. 2006 R class, ABS and warning triangle are on. Code reader says rear left wheel speed sensor not working. Replaced sensor, erased codes and it's no different. Thought it may be a faulty aftermarket sensor - swapped...

Oooo, it may be an MB-3, how do you tell the difference? The steering wheel controls work for answering and ending calls which is why I couldn't understand what it's for, but if it can stream music that would be cool.

My brother rang, he's just spent loads on sorting the suspension on his 2005 e500, and now the engine management light has come on. Thanks for the info. I was well aware of the improvements introduced with the facelift w211 and that made it a priority, is the RClass facelift as important? I've read loads of reviews / opinions about the RClass and know pretty much what I want, I'm just unsure how it compares to my eclass.
