Did someone figure out? I tried to change but don't work. I'm shure there must be an option. For the pre-facelifted W204 it worked, why wouldn't for facelifted. If someone make it, please let me know. Many thanks.

Sorry to hear that but.. I was chating with someone and he said that he made it, but he didn't do this by himself. He drove his car on a Mercedes Benz and they switched it. I still think that it's possible. I also bought the unit, I'll see if it works on my car, otherway I will also drive my car...

As I see you can use also display from W166: A1729003904 . It's younger year :)

It's just a different angle. It's the same connector. You have part numbers, so... check it by yourself. :)
