Unsure tbh. There doesnt feel like a lot of tension from the cable when i pull it from the drivers side so assuming maybe cable has snapped or something. Either that or the latch is absolutly solid.

Has anyone successfully popped the passenger side bonnet latch on a W211 E55 when the lever no longer works? Passenger side latch works, have tried pulling the cable manually from behind the drivers headlight but no luck - potentially snapped? Cant seem to get access from below on the...

Charging problem hasn't been solved yet, as im only just getting round to it. However, as the battery is nackered...i still need a new battery regardless, whilst im eliminating the alternator, regulator, BCU etc to find the no charging problem. Just thought id double check the general consensus...

Yea was on looking at those. Whats the reason behind it being a stop start battery? Is that required or just AGM?

End of last year I had some electrical problems with my E55. One day it just decided to switch the systems off whilst running. Stuck a meter on the battery and was reading 11.5V when running. Was parked up and left to be dealt with. The battery itself is now kaput. So I'm looking for...
