Hi All, Bit the bullet and spent £41 at the dealer for a new thermostat, seals and 1.5l of anti-freeze. Diving straight in, no need to remove the air pipe or front engine cover, I used an E10 female Torx socket to release the bolts (2 off) retaining the cover letting the coolant errr flush...

Give British Gas a ring. They were far more efficient at repairing our boiler than the manufacturers engineer (Worcester Bosch). Oh and cheaper too.

Hi Bobby Dazzler :-) You hit the nail on the head! I talked with them and they only book 12 mins for the job and were more than happy to leave a filter on the passenger seat for me. In exchange for about £25 of course :) Wondering how they will react to me changing it beforehand and...

And MB want to charge me £69 to change the engine air filter. If I change the filter myself, how do I stand with maintenance of the service record? And will it affect Mobilo and so on?
