Good question and one that scares the **** out of me. I've reached for it a few times whilst braking for a left turn and almost jumped into the back seat! The selector should be same as the a45. Small leaver which is positively for the gears and not an indicator/window wash wipe stalk.
I think once you are seated and comfy and you are listening to the exhaust note through open windows on a warm summer day( so that will be twice a year) you can forget the looks and just grin. When it's approaching 7,000 rpm the grin turns to a manic laugh. When it's doing that the only drawback...
Forget ride comfort with the 63 but the trade off for the rear end slide handling is more than worth it. The c class will feel more alive underneath you and a little sharper. As long as you can live with the less roomier feel I would say it's a good bet.
I've had both seats and prefer the standards. But I'm old and like the softer seat for my aching bones. Air scarf is fantastic.....cos my old neck bones love it
The 6.2 v8 will always do well in resale because it's the end of the line for the naturally aspirated engine. When you loot at the performance what would you have to spend on something new to match it? If you can keep the mileage reasonable and service record good then I think they are good...
Check the crank. I did one and the shock loading when it locked flattened the mains and big ends and threw the crank out of balance. Worth having it spun up and balanced.
Good decision. Running a 63 on abudget(tyres prove it) is not an option. The only contact for 450 up is them. Loads of genuine ones about. Enjoy all the test drives. One will stand out. You'll know when you are onto a winner.
Ha ha. The v 7 refers to the fact that Mercedes could not get the car to run on all 8 cylinders. 2nd one back on the right cylinder bank would never fire. It had new injector, coil pack, mass air flow sensor, plug and compression test. I gave up after 6 months and chopped it in.
Hi everyone,
After having nothing but bad luck with my last 2 63s and trying Merc hybrids and an s class in between,I am picking up a new c63 premium next week.I couldn't' live without the performance and noise. After the last 2( a v7 on the first one and intercooler leaks on the 2nd) I have...
I went to 4 dealers today and couldn't get one solitary sales person interested. I wanted a c63 before April first and no one was bothered. Pushy? No! Complete opposite.
