Did the car veer to the left or did the steering wheel itself turn to the left a bit when you let go of it? It's the latter I have a problem with ... tx

Thx all for your comments ... I think the real mystery is why the steering wheel was not noticeably veering to the left some weeks ago of its own accord when let go of and now definitely appears to be doing so. It's even weirder though that a suspension calibration on Star, a perfect alignment...

Car drives straight when holding steering wheel straight but steering veers left when you let go of the steering irrespective of swapping the front tyres over or not

Also u sure this is a wheel alignment problem and nothing else contributing?

All - I have headlight washers and manually adjustable headlights - but they're manually adjustable from the headlight itself not from a button inside the car. Is that what you all mean? Still waiting for someone to confirm whether or not the OEM xenons are a straight swap of the OEM halogens...
