Can confirm as per the above, got it working today by using the following. Used the Mercedes supplied MMI to Apple 30 pin cable part no. A0038270504 and a genuine Apple Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter part no. MD824ZM/A, sweet as can be, full control and display via the command. Thanks Guys.
