I've just been looking at the car and may have found the problem. The rear n/s is very pitted and there's little evidence of meat on the pads on either side at the rear. This would suggest the front's are doing all the work. Best get it booked in!

Hi, I've just picked up some alloys for my W203 C220 cdi estate(2004). Tried to fit them, bolts are only 4cm long and therefore not long enough to reach in to the hub. So where in the Cheshire area will have the correct bolts on a Sunday?:crazy:

Hi, I've just bought some genuine merc alloys for my 203 C220 CDI estate and I'm obviously looking to keep them. Which locking nuts do you recommend? Not sure what the name of the wheel style is but I'm really chuffed with them!

My car was serviced at a main dealer today & they have used 0W30 oil when previously it has had 5w30 low ash. Just curious as to why it has thinner black stuff put in at a higher mileage?!

Just a quick update... all seat leads checked and they appear to be secure, even when wiggled the warning light stays on. I'll get it booked in to the dealer when I get home and try not to park it in a hedge en route! Thanks for all the suggestions and advice, it is appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the replies. The booklet that I received with the car describes the system as an Audio 20. I don't think it has any thing extra other than a cd changer and it definately doesn't use DVD's. So, I'm guessing that its D2B. Cheers.
