I spoke to two dealers today. One said 9g in everything from November, other said no 9g in the 4 cylinders for another year minimum...??

Thanks, I guess I will have a look around on the lease companies, however I know some people have got prices from lease companies to them get it matched by Mercedes? I suppose I was trying to find out the mechanism through the dealers to do this.

Hi guys, I know there are a lot of leasing companies around, some with pretty good deals at the moment. Having done a search, I can see some members have successfully got Mercedes themselves to match/better some deals. The question is, who did you approach to get this? The local dealer or...

Interestingly I went to Llandudno today and they swore blind Mercedes do not do personal leasing.....?? They are Inchcape too

The term "Sport" coupled with a 4cyl CDI is enough to set the alarms IMHO. It's merely a design statement, given there is pointier handling...but sport it is not.

I got a call from Mercedes North Wales to tell me they have a facelift E Class in now. I'm going down to see it this weekend. Anybody else see one in the metal as yet?

I am due to get an E220cdi 1st week of April to test. Driving style isn't the main thing it's driving routes (motorways, a/b roads etc)

The E300 had 4800 miles on it when delivered to me, so it's had some running in. It's a large heavy car, but 67+ mpg seems awfully exaggerated. Maybe it needs more miles on it before it truly loosens up. I'm on a 230 mile round trip tomorrow of all motorway so will report back on that, and will...
