Right as it turned out to be the torque convertor:fail, time to ditch the bitch:thumb: and go back to what I know not a German waste of money pit, so just brought something better, reliable and what I have brought can only increase in value:thumb:, thanks to all the help received.

Thanks for the info buddy, Went into Mercedes today and apparently its the torque converter causing the problem, so going to get the old girl a gearbox flush and filter change and see what happens, if not:doh: then its toast and gone and back to Jap I go:thumb:

Well took the MAF apart and cleaned it with Maf cleaner and cannot find where the AIT sensor goes but I will see what happens with this first.

Have not got a star machine but everyone is telling me its the air intake temp sensor, is this the same as the maf sensor?

Got another problem with the old girl, Starts fine on cold and runs well but just before the 80 mark on the temperature gauge it stalls on idle, its the 2.3 supercharged on a 98 s plate auto, anyone got any ideas, i am hoping its a sensor :dk:

I Had a look but I cannot get the trim off without opening the boot:dk: there must be a release surely somewhere?:wallbash:

Does anyone know how to open an estate door without using the handle as i cannot get into the back??????

Thanks buddy:thumb:, but the lock will not work on the exterior of the boot so I will give it the juice and see if that changes, if not its time to strip the door trim:confused:
