I actually noticed the last week or two that my ESL is sounding ‘slow’ again. It was replaced by MB in 2016 ish already. Looking at the emulators for W204 they’re not plug and play they need programming so might as well get it sorted properly, new motor again maybe.

I replaced the 4 at the front of my W204 with some Aglint branded ones last year, so far only one has stopped working. Colour matches the LED dipped beam bulb's I'm using.

I took it to a garage a few weeks back to diagnose the thumping from the rear. They could hear it but he wasn't sure what it was. He agreed they looked soft but said they don't usually make that noise, he thought it sounded like a shock, but I've changed the rear shocks & top mount already and...

I’ve got 4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 5 on the way from black circles, they were £25 off if you buy 4. The price difference for fitted vs just delivered is pretty big I rekon you could get them fitted cheaper if you’re prepared to stick them in your boot and drive down there.

There are ESL emulators on eBay now that’s probably the way I’d go if mine went again. Anyone tried one?

Weird there’s no codes, I get a code if I unplug the EGR motor, but otherwise it drives good, mines a pre facelift though.

Don’t know how it works but maybe it’s mapped so it doesn’t open but missing connections would still throw a code what actually is the code you’ve got

I used the Halfords type refill - worked well, from empty not quite a full can got the gauge into the green bit. AC still working well a year later.

I changed the switch on mine last year. Same symptoms no pressure reading despite a manual gauge showing plenty. When I took the bottom covers off to get to the switch the whole area between the two rads was packed dense with mushy leaves which won’t have helped the longevity of the the switch...
