My C250 diesel coupe is 2012 (62) and has done 54K miles and has had 3 services. Still feels like new to be honest. None of my services have been stamped in the book as they are on the electronic service record.

No news that I know about. If it was going to happen I'm sure it would have by now, so I'm pretty sure it must have required a hardware change which the Gen 3 units have to make them work with the iPhone.

Looking at the photos, I can't see the foot operated parking brake. Is Mercedes going electronic?

I have exactly the same issue. Mentioned it on my last service, they said they did some 'engine updates' whatever that means but it didn't solve it. I will have to mention it again next time I'm in.
