Petrol in an E270cdi does Mobilolife cover?

Believe you me people - I'm the biggest diesel fan out there always raving about my car. It's my wifes' car which is the petrol. I still can't believe I did what I did - it makes me sick just to think about it. The bill was HUGE. I have mitigating circumstances my life is pure h*ll at the...

Petrol in an E270cdi does Mobilolife cover?

Apparantly on new cars Mobilolife cover does cover for mis-fueling. I'm unfortunating having a bad time at home at the moment and not thinking straight a couple of weeks ago filled up at the green pumped instead of the black pump. I'm not going to tell you how much it all cost but by the time...

Quite a few of my mates (well nearly all of them actually - who have Broadband cnx!!)have gone with PlusNet http://www.plus.net/residential/ They seem to be very reasonable - and come out well in reviews. I'm waiting until July 13th 2005 before I can get Broadband - lets hope the prices keep...

How To: Create the Perfect Paintwork Show Car Shine (UK Style)

Thanks Goldfish11 I hope I'm not alone in wanting to thank Goldfish11 for all his efforts on here. I know from experience that he has spent a great deal of time researching this information whether that be on the web, swapping emails or actually buying and using the products himself. But...

    Time for new rear tyres!

I had a thread 6/8 weeks ago - have a search, asking the same questions. Here it is: http://mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=9990 I got around 15000 out of my NCT5s and that was considered good (ish) so for 22K you've done well! Did you rotate your tyres - I didn't and got...

With Nano-paint, is it worth paying more for metallic black versus plain black (404)?

My understanding is that the nano paint was more resistant to scratches and marking. :( I'd have thought black would be especially prone to marks and in that sense the nano paint would be better. Interesting to hear what Goldfish11 has to say on the subject as his E class is black.

    Top Gear

Glad I was not the only one who was laughin' away - even got a smile from the wifey! :) Me think she is a closet speed freak - this might explain the MB gearbox after she's been drivin' it!

    What the hell is this?

Perhaps we should have this as a regular feature - guess the MB part. :) Sorry I'm bored and I don't want to go to work tomorrow :(

    Advice on re-installing Windows XP!

The same 7 times overwrite was standard 'military' grade destruction of data in the UK a couple of years back. The data that was written had to be completely random (but that's another story). Go with the new hard disk - they are cheap enough.

A Service due - Possible Computer Glitch..???

As I've said up here in the East Angles an A is £199 at the MB dealer. Although they don't seem very happy about splitting the cost down so that I could supply my own oil. You do get the option of a courtesey car. Anyway mine is now booked in for the 'B' service at the end of the month...

A Service due - Possible Computer Glitch..???

I was under the impression that the service interval not only depends on driving distances/styles but also on some time factor. I may be wrong - willing to be corrected. Come up to Norfolk and save £50 on the service - even with the distance you'd still be quids in.
