The word from M-B is that remote services to some vehicles require 3G access, and because the 3G networks are being shut down these remote services are no-longer available.

Thanks. That's one of those plates I'd never worried about - until now. The second line is blank so, I believe, this means the car (C350e Sport Estate 2017) is not able to tow. (I don't have the foot-waggling access option, but the s/w update has become rather academic now)

Fitting a tow bar to a 2017 C350e estate. Are there any problems in doing this? The Witter site talks about a software update being needed and that only MB can do that - what does the update do?
