That’s the bolt I wanted but mb practically told me that I couldn’t have it as my chassis says it excepts the older bolt, therefore take it or leave it. It was frustrating to say the least.

Yes that’s the bolt I was expecting, if I had got that I wouldn’t have to be sending sockets back and wouldn’t have had to buy all new ones to fit the bolt I’ve got now. I’ve already fitted the parts and made do so I’ll have to live with it for now :) Thank you.

This the nut and bolt on my car clearly comes with washers also shown in diagram. The newer one from what I found seems to be on the w204 nut and torx bolt no washers.

No the chirping was the alarm siren, so I’m lucky that it broke so I noticed the bolt missing. If it wasn’t for that I guess I would have found out in a totally different way. So for once I’m glad that something broke on my car, or yes the chirping was telling me. :)
