I have just used: www.lillyandconstable.com It cost me £269 inc VAT for a maintenence service on a C36, happy with the job they have done so far. Just be aware that their courtesy cars are nto mercs, I got lumbered with a Toyota Yaris for the day! Chris.

Had thought about it but C36s never seem to make any money on there really, probably worth it as a last resort now I think as the car is getting very little use at the moment but still costing me on insurance etc! What is peoples opinion of selling on ebay? Is 7k too much to ask for a C36...

Had a head gasket failure shortly after I bought it, then a tecnician from a garage that I will not mention turned the car over with no timing chain in place. The car therefore has 24 new valves, new pistons etc and runs as new now as you would expect!

I don't know what year your one is but I paid £82 few months ago including VAT. The key is for a 1996 so it may be different if yours is post facelift. BTW I got mine from Mercedes in Maidstone. Chris

I don't know about a sport interior but the C36 interiors only have two seats in the back and an armrest in the middle, I would imagine that is the only difference. I believe the fronts are the same. Chris
