    Best places to advertise/sell?

As the better weather starts to show itself, it's time to advertise my 1993 300SL (money required elsewhere). I tried Autotrader late last year (probably the wrong time to advertise a convertible?) with very little interest other than the occasional chancer offering half the advertised price...

    Ooop's - this was about cars?? ;-)

    R129 water in the footwell.

I'm guessing you have checked the roof and that is ok? So have you tried lifting the carpet and pressure washing the inner arch - see if water is coming through there somehow? Other than that - could the windscreen need refitting with new seals?

W204 2012 DRL - Sweet chocolate jesus. HOW MUCH!

Have you tried Breakeryard.com? I've used them previously looking for door's for a Ford Galaxy and found them really helpful (and cheap!).

    Recommend a 12V Tyre Inflator Please !

That's good value, and Ring is a good brand name - I have a Ring battery charger/power pack and it keeps cars and mowers running with no trouble.

Do you wash your own car or not

I'm too particular to let anyone else wash my cars - hands off!!! Radio on, maybe a can of beer and a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the garage door. Bliss. :-)

    Recommend a 12V Tyre Inflator Please !

I've had a Michelin one (round type) for 3 years now, nothing to report other than it keeps pumping and the gauge seems to be fairly accurate - checking against a hand held manual gauge. Bought from Halfords.

    Anyone wrapped their car?

Too much for me certainly - I could get a re-spray for less than the wrap quote I got!

    Anyone wrapped their car?

Looked into getting my wife's Freelander wrapped last year - got a quote from a company who had an "advert" car parked at Brands Hatch. At just over £1400, which didn't include door shuts etc - I thought it was too expensive.
