Just had new steering rack fitted on 320cls but now have warning light "steering angle sensor" fault. Any idea if this is related to the rack change and how to cure it..tried locking wheels left/right several times but no joy

Hi all Anybody got any idea what the voltage should be on the SPS solenoid on the rack when car at idle/low speed my indie thinks voltage is currently too low in above condition. Secondly would it be feasible to remove solenoid and blank off the port?? many thanks for info urgently...

Yes tyre pressures all OK steering is very heavy with engine running and car mobile Checked all front bushes all OK steering fluid full what else??

Thanks again AMgeeed...I wish mine would turn with one finger with engine running...its really stiff. Do you have electric steering by any chance?

Hi,:dk: have stiff/heavy steering on my 320cls (hydraulic steering). when engine switched off but ignition still on it is impossible to turn the steering wheel. Is this normal as I thought I would be able to turn wheel albeit very heavy?? All comments gratefully received !!

If its in the limp mode, what is the original problem,where should I look??

don't think its in Limp mode...however if I turn ignition off and restart car all OK
