So it seems I have one manufactured in 2003. So on my 2005 S211 it's probable out of activations which will be the "brake visit workshop" message although the fault code on my iCarsoft MB v1. 0 shows "check wake up procedure of Control Module" not an over activation limit fault

I'm not sure whether this was correct but it what I used to do with copper washers on big generator diesels. My thinking was if the washer was soft when fitted it would be more likely to take up any small imperfections in the seat when initially torqued up with having to apply high torque and...

Not sure whether it was the right thing but I annealed the washers when I did mine. Heat to cherry red and drop in water to soften them. Torqued to 7mn + 90 degrees. Sealed ok
