Right I've finally had this repaired. Turns out it is the actual rocker cover itself that has a crack in it and oil has been weeping out of it. My local independent are busy doing the work - over 460 quid for a new cover though... :( It actually seems that this is a common Mercedes issue -...

That's interesting - I've been talking to The Wheel Specialist in Aberdeen and they didn't mention the ability of combining the two! I've just had a look on their FB page - will send them the same a message and see what can be done. Dave

My alloys on the E63 are a bit rough looking due to the crap roads around Aberdeenshire. I've been given an option to powder coat them rather than diamond re-cut them. What's everyone's view on this? Dave

I'm toying with the idea of selling our 60 plate E63 estate. It's got 75,000 miles and is fitted with the LSD. It's also got full MBSH. Anyone have a rough idea on what this is worth? Cheers, Dave
