Eventually the dealer found to to be an oil pressure switch and replaced it, the problem has now gone, Mercedes are aware of the issue as several cars have now had this problem so your dealer should be able to fix this fault.

Same here, as far as I and the fitter could work out, there was no fuses in the front fuse box that could be used so had to run a cable from the rear fuse box through the door seals and up the headlining, pain in the a**e, but works a treat now, like others, i think manufacturers need to catch...

Had mine finally done by autiglass in Bristol with a genuine MB OEM screen. They also ran the calibration tests there and then as they are one of the few centres with the correct kit, also came with a certificate to prove it had been done, rather than next time the car is with MB they tell me...

Well it all appears to be working after the antenna replacement. Out of interest as I forgot to ask, does anyone know which wing mirror contains the antenna?

Cancelled the one in Preston as they were not going to use a genuine MB screen, awaiting for insurance approval before they order a genuine one then off to Bristol hopefully in about a week when the screen arrives. Fingers crossed.

Ours has provided an identical new E-Class estate (Sytner in Gloucester) so not too bad, jus t the inconvenience, they had already had the car a week before finding this and have now had the car longer than myself since I bought it.

Dealer phoned yesterday, the car is getting a new antenna as that was causing the lock ups, looks like it could be a common fault as reported further up this thread.

On long journeys the dogs sometimes have to stay in the car for 10mins whilst we use 'the facilities', it would just be an easy way or getting air in the car instead of the windows.

Does Anyone know if the Mercedes Roof Bars for the New E class estate allow the sunroof to open, all other makes of bad say no and the dealers don't seem to know if the oem ones will, if they don't it makes the choice far greater. Thank you.
