I have a C55. I rarely use the manual mode buttons. I have never used the manual stick mode. I even bought some of those paddle shifters but never got round to fitting them. Fortunately, I have another manual car to do all that with :)

Italy side is much better for driving but it's still not a patch on other mountain roads. Partly because of the name it's just overly busy.

I find in Europe people will wave you past too, and not just the locals but UK drivers abroad too! Try seeing any of that in the UK.
