Issue Resolved The non-starting has been resolved by Mertrux in Derby. Turns out the linkage rod joining the gear selector to the gearbox had become dislodged and hence the car refused to start...Phew, I feel like I dodged an expensive bullet there! Till next time folks! Rez

Folks, I've recently bought a 2004 S211 320CDI and am in the process of fixing all the little niggles, one of which relates to the stainless steel plate at the lip of the load area. There appears to be a little too much flex and movement in the plate, I've removed the metal screws that hold it...
